The new Sugar Wharf community will be located on an 11.5-acre property, located at the northeast corner of Queens Quay East and Freeland Street, one block east of Yonge Street.

It’s hoped the prominent location offers both the exciting lifestyle benefits of being on the waterfront, as well as convenient access to all the amenities of the downtown core. Union Station and the Financial District are all within a 10-minute walk.

Currently, the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) occupies three buildings on the property, a retail store, a four-storey office building and a warehouse facility.

LCBO will become the anchor tenant of the office tower and will feature a 25,000 sq. ft. flagship store that will replace the current Queen Quay’s store.

When complete, Sugar Wharf will be the largest mixed-use development on the waterfront, featuring from 4,000 to 4,500 workers, plus a resident population between 7,000 and 8,000 people.

This condo will be right next to the future high-tech neighbourhood called “Sidewalk Toronto” to be built by Google. For more information on Sidewalk Toronto, click here: https://sidewalktoronto.ca/
